Dr. Tom Mulholland has worked in the emergency department for over 30 years, with a background in forestry. He is a motivational speaker, best selling author and the director of KYND Wellness. Dr. Tom travels in his pop up medical clinic, testing New Zealanders for preventable health issues and spreading the word of KYND. He is passionate, ambitious and keen on making a difference.
Dr. Tom has spoken for the likes of Google, Microsoft and TedX and is New Zealand's leading expert on well-being. He takes this knowledge, experience and passion and transfers it into KYND and his consultations with individuals he encounters out in the field. It's this educated but personal approach to talking with patients that allows them to gain real life advice and take their health seriously, in an impactful and friendly way.
David Steele is one of the founding directors of KYND, and has watched the company develop and grow over the last six years.
David is a qualified chartered accountant, with over 25 years experience. He is the director of his firm DPA and sits on multiple boards across New Zealand.
David has provided KYND with years of strategic guidance and mentorship to the CEO, and is passionate about watching the company flourish as it supports New Zealand people in their health and wellness journeys.
Gabe found his passion for technology at age 12, learning Basic and then Assembler. From there onwards, Gabe was hooked on the possibilities technology could offer for a better world.
Gabe worked at Microsoft for almost 20 years, as the Senior Director for the Health Industry - Asia. Since then, Gabe has founded his own company Aceso Health, merging his two passions of technology and improving the worlds health together.
Gabe joined the KYND team as a director in 2021, and brings an excellent wealth of knowledge and inspiration towards KYNDs strategy to improve the world, one health check at a time.
Kiyoshi Suzaki gained a BSEE degree from Japan’s Waseda University, before working as a Nuclear Engineer at Toshiba as well as at GE in Silicon Valley. In 1981, Kiyoshi earned an MBA from Stanford University and worked at Boston Consulting group on corporate strategy. Since then, Kio has worked with a number of businesses, consulting on increasing companies’ competitiveness through better utilisation of the talents of their people.
With a focus on wellbeing and empowering people, Kio has also written several highly regarded management books, translated into 12 languages.
“As NZ and the whole world go through the turbulent period experiencing major shift related to covid-19, technological advancement, etc., all of us are challenged to find our destiny re mind, body, life, work, relationship, etc. I believe KYND exists to address this by providing key information and assistances for its customer.”
Livi has been with KYND since it’s inception, and is extremely passionate about the difference preventative health care can make in our lives. A keen runner and amateur gardener, health and wellness is a key focus for her personally, and professionally.
Livi first joined KYND after graduating with a degree in Communications, majoring in Creative Industries. With agency experience, Livi understood how large companies can often want the best for their employees, yet struggle to know how to deliver a health and wellness program that is effective.
Combining her studies and passion, Livi’s mission is to continue to grow KYND, to help as many New Zealanders as possible, by providing them with the opportunity to receive easy to access preventative health care in their workplace.
Andrew has a background in delivery of anti-doping and values education programmes in high performance sport and also has a deep understanding of the use of technology platforms to drive change, deliver knowledge and increase engagement.
He is passionate when it comes to helping people feel confident and empowered to lead their own health and wellbeing. Andrew has always been an advocate for fit for purpose technology which provides insights to guide decision making for leaders and individuals.“I get excited when technology provides insights which lead to positive change for people and businesses.”
Andrew loves the outdoors, from competing in athletics as a youngster, through to premiere level rugby league and international competition as an age group triathlete. While he still enjoys keeping physically active, he spends more time with family in outdoor adventures and helping out on the family farm in rural West Auckland.
Anthony is an occupational medicine specialist and fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians - Occupational and Environmental Medicine division.
He is a graduate of Auckland Medical School and lives on Auckland's North Shore. He has a wide variety of clinical based occupational medicine experience including within hospitals, transport and construction, manufacturing and service related industries.
He has experience in managing musculoskeletal conditions and also has particular interest in management of neurological conditions, head injuries as well as work related skin disorders.

Liesje is a dually trained clinical and health psychologist who is passionate about improving outcomes and how we can do this better. Liesje loves working with KYND due to KYND’s innovative approach to improving health and the amazing KYND team.
Tania’s background is that of a registered pharmacist with experience in both hospital, community pharmacy. Working in the healthcare industry has developed her skills in communication, training people, patient management and process creations. Tania joined the team as Clinical Manager in 2021 bringing with her a wide range of skills that have been instrumental in creating clinical coordination, policy and process work. Tania’s interest and passion around healthcare has always been a focus in her life.

Tania walks the talk, and tries to reclaim her youth through her love of open water swimming, spin classes and being on the dance floor. She is also known to be a fancy dress fanatic when the opportunity arises.
Jo has worked as a nutritionist for nearly 20 years. Graduating from Otago University with a Science degree and a Consumer and Applied Science degree in Nutrition she runs her own nutrition practice in Taupo. Jo joined the KYND team in 2016 and has never looked back. A keen photographer she also loves to help document the exciting KYND adventures that take team all over New Zealand. Jo is passionate about health and helping to prevent preventable diseases. She is involved with the KYND testing protocols and education that help clients manage and improve their wellness using the App.

Desiree has a background in finance and business management, and has worked with a number of start-ups and ranging businesses to implement cohesive accounts management processes.
Whilst Dee has a diploma in Psychology and Counseling, she is also a trained KYND Technician and has helped guide the company since 2020, with her experience in financial management and her passion for health and wellness.
